About the Classic Technical Certificate

The Porsche Classic Technical Certificate allows you to work with exclusive dealership members as they extensively test your classic Porsche vehicle, inspect the vehicle, and offer historical info with your elevated experience. This certificate also preserves the exclusivity of your classic Porsche by documenting original time of delivery, the original equipment featured with the initial factory build, and more. How do I earn a Porsche Classic Technical Certificate

A Porsche Classic Technical Certificate can only be ordered at a Porsche Classic Partner or a qualified authorized dealer. Porsche Grapevine is a Classic Partner and is a certified dealer staffed with technicians, service advisors, and parts specialists with a high level of Classic competence. Porsche Grapevine is a qualified authorized dealer with trained technicians in a defined set of core Classic competencies and a certified Classic service advisors to perform the inspection and order the Porsche Classic Technical Certificate. The Porsche Classic Technical Certificate is priced at $500.00 plus local sales tax.

Which Porsche vehicles qualify for the Porsche Classic Technical Certificate available?

The Porsche Classic range includes all historic vehicles which have not been produced in standard production for at least 10 years. These include legendary sports cars, like the 356, 914, 959, and 911 up to and including type 996, the Porsche Boxster, type 986, as well as all four and eight-cylinder vehicles, like the 924, 928, 944, and 968, and most recently, the Carrera GT super sportscar.

Why did you want to become a Classic Certified Brand Ambassador?

I love to drive and work on vintage models. However, it's the knowledge and passion that our Porsche clients have for their cars is why I wanted to pursue this ambassador role. I get to learn a lot about their unique experiences with the car and why the Porsche brand means so much to them.

The 911, 993, 964, and 996 - but all are welcome!

Why did you want to become a Classic Certified Brand Ambassador?

I love what Porsche was capable of so long ago. The heritage of the brand, the ideas Porsche had and what they were doing before anyone else was are amazing. But, I think the best part of being classic certified is the ability to talk to clients about their story and their car as the history behind the two is always great. I love hearing when clients first fell in love with the brand, and when they had their first Porsche experience. For most, it's like a teenage crush, then blossomed into missing the one they love. So, when people have a chance to reconnect with a classic or restore it back to when they remember the great times in their lives. Those times make what I do worth doing.

What are your favorite Porsche Classic Cars?

I really love the look and lines of the 930 and 964 body style. The fender curves and Whale Tail spoilers on some models are amazing.

How do you try and Elevate the Service Experience?

I elevate the experience by being truly interested in the back story behind the classics. The stories don't fall on deaf ears. I love hearing the passion as someone tells me their story. The elevation is being real and genuine when I ask them about their story.
